Then you can and enjoy small animals like pot-bellied pigs in the walk thru petting zoo. A small gift shop is where you buy the bags of feed for the critters and refreshments for yourself. Exotic species like American Bison wait for your self-guided tours from the comfort of your car.
4. Last but not least is the “Texas Safari” at the Frank Buck Zoo, located in Gainesville. This zoo is home to over 130 animals from around the world, including lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). The whole family can drive through the park in their own vehicles and observe the animals in their natural environment. The park also offers guided tours for those who want to learn more about the animals and their habitats.
