Leah and Jim Russell
We are passionate about traveling and exploring and are convinced that turning 50 means the fun has just begun! As empty-nesters, we are always looking for the next day trip, adventure, experience, or vacation. Here’s a little more about us.
While we certainly enjoy going to the well-known, hot-spots we also really love finding interesting, quirky places that have a lot of character. It seems that often the unique places are more fun, less crowded, and frequently cheaper.
We have both recently retired and are loving the freedom that has come with it. TIME!!! What?! Our roles as public school administrators took us all over Texas and we will always be Texans at heart. However, we have moved to Alabama to be closer to our granddaughters (and their parents).
About Us- Now What?
Because we are empty-nesters, we have a lot more time for adventures and experiences and are loving this stage of our lives. We are always on the hunt to find quaint, quirky, kitschy locations and places. So please let us know if you have ideas for us and come join us for the ride.
Our ultimate goal is to travel all over the country. To prepare for that, we are already working to find more and more ways to “Earn While We Roam” so we can stay on the road longer and continue to travel.
Be looking for tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your money as well as for ways to earn an income and stay on the road. That’s coming soon!
Happy Travels!
